at MU, and if Odom had a successful track record as a Head Coach (like Rhule), and if Odom was only in his first year (like Rhule), then I wouldn't blame him for the 0-5 start.

However, this is Odom's 2nd season, his only head coaching experience was high school, and he inherited a typical situation for a new head coach (i.e. not ideal, but not bad).

You're trying to compare apples to oranges.
