This is how I would see it:

1. Person collects a bunch of money from donors to pass certain beneficial laws to them (and not beneficial to potential competitors).

2. Person works to pass laws in their one term.

3. Person gets hired with great pay by its campaign donors to now lobby other thieves.


The real solution is to decentralize power away from DC.
