after leaving the Navy & beginning his political career for good.

Wonder how much of that farming was window dressing for his future political aspirations.

I give the guy credit for his active participation with Habitat for Humanity or whatever & realize he has been one to walk the walk &’get his hands dirty, but, still, never heard much detail about those 10 Peanut farming years, at least, I, personally, never read or heard much specificity regarding that part of his life.
