In Greitens I see a guy who's hell bent on leveraging his military service for all it's worth in order to fuel clear political ambitions. That's his prerogative, but it turns me off.

The idea of any American defining patriotism for any other American is, in itself, un-American. As long as it's done peacefully and doesn't violate anyone else's right to interpretation, it's a subject best left alone, like religion.
