Notice how he decries nationalism. Kinda like the left does now.

Interestingly, he says that democracy and complete freedom would have been available to the balkan states if they had formed a federation.

Democracy (small d) and freedom. Advocated by VI Lenin.

I wonder if he meant it. Seriously, communism had not been tried on any significant scale at that time. In faculty lounges and in the minds of radicals, it probably sounded good.

Fairness, equality...kinda like now.

Of course once implemented...kinda like now.

Did VI Lenin really believe in peace and democracy and freedom, or was that just like the empty promises the socialists make today.

And interestingly, constanza wanted to name his kid, Seven. Probably because Lenin was already Six.
