Are anyone's rights violated by a person simply owning one?

The second amendment, like all of the Bill of Rights are individual rights. The notion of the National Guard covering that is folly since they are still under the command of the President and Secretary of Defense. As such that fails to provide a check against the federal mimitary as outlined as necessary by James Madison.

No, it is not the responsibility of the government to maintain airline security. The airline companies should provide that and it be paid for via ticket costs. People who do not fly should not be having to pay for the security of someone going on vacation.

I have no problem with police in general. I have a problem with them enforcing laws that violate the rights of no one. They are granted powers that are above the law of the people.
