There appears to have been two windows broken out in the room, which would imply that there were plans for two shooters.
Video shows one for the most part with automatic riffle being used. Could the shooter actually have been a yet to be identified person? Paddock, clearly was involved in things that appear shady on the surface such as the Large transfers of money offshore, no real traceability of how he made his vast sums of money, etc...
Could a second person have killed Paddock in the room, then used the tripod to fire a belt feed automatic weapon into the crowd (bump stock AR if you prefer). When smoke detectors went off 8 or 9 minutes in, he left as part of the choas. Then when the police arrive an hour later they find Paddock dead
