who had allegedly tweeted the original, but could not find it. Jason Hannigan who had tweeted that did not link to the original tweet, but posted a screenshot, which could have easily been photoshopped. That should have been a red flag for me. My bad.
I also searched Facebook for Stephen Paddock in Nevada & in Las Vegas, but none were found. I'm not sure if Facebook would have displayed some sort of notice if the account had been closed, so it's possible that there had been an account, but it has now been closed. Red flag #2.
If it was true, there would assuredly be screenshots of the account before it was closed floating around, but I haven't seen any.
Bottom line, there's a very high probability that it is fraudulent. My guess is that if it is, Jason Hannigan is suspect #1 for perpetrating it.
