All I said was it would be a good way to get shot, running around in civilian clothes with an active shooter situation.

Had a situation a few months ago where Lenexa had a pursuit in our neighborhood. Didn't end here, but 3 houses down the car stopped and a black kid with a hoodie (in July) bailed out of the car.

I am drawn to the lights strobing at the end of the block and coming in our windows and figure it's a traffic stop or DUI, unaware of the pursuit and party on foot. Go to the deck and see officers behind my house with a K9 trying to pick up a track. Did I grab my gun as I went out the door? Fvck no. It's dark and I don't know those guys and they don't know me.
