on this.
I do not believe that it is ever the wrong time to stand for what you believe. I think that if something is wrong it should be fixed.
So, from a logical perspective while i disagree with the cause and effect of the violence, i take no issue with the gun control nuts talking about this virtually immediately. The argument that they should wait for a period of time is silly imo, as one should act when the moment is fresh.
On the other hand, this is not about saving lives, this is another raw grab for power. They are not only advocating for their position, they are demonizing anyone who disagrees. And the demons just happen to be on the other side of the aisle.
They will blame the NRA, the republican wimp party, and anyone else on the political right.
Next, wait for the socialists to blame global warming for "gun violence." And um, if black lives really mattered and black lives were not merely part of a political slogan, have the socialists march into chicago and detroit and newark and baltimore and st louis and oakland and philadelphia and demand to see gang members' weapons and their registrations.
We can disagree on the cause of the deaths.
We can disagree on the tactics and timing of making the case.
And still be civil enough to have a conversation about it.
But when it gets political, it becomes emotional. When it is emotional it is no longer rational. When it is no longer rational....
You're dealing with socialists attempting to take more power.
