it is too late for America

the Far Right and the NRA changed the meaning of the 2nd Amendment and now the radical right has brainwashed many American's into believe the founding fathers actually wanted them to own assault weapons with high capacity magazines. The time to fix this has come and gone. It will get way worse before it gets better. There are assault weapon murders all across America, why they are even on the streets in the first place, can be layed at the feet of the far right republican cowards who replaced the cold war fears of the communist invasion with Left Wing loonies coming for their guns. It is still a statistical fact that you are more likely to be shot by your own gun than actually saving anyone's life with one, yet all you hear about in NRA's talking points is that being armed is your right and if you're not armed then your family is in danger. this is not now nor has it ever been the truth, but it has worked for the NRA and the gun-lobbies that are making BILLIONS of dollars off this BS movement. you're only recourse is to move somewhere sensible where the Fear-Right hasn't corrupted the populations opinions about their safety. The problem is there are fewer and fewer places like that in America these days
