The states with the highest tax rates contribute way more federal tax revenue than all the other states.

You think we get all our tax dollars from Alabama and South Carolina? Those states are takers more than anything.

Look at a map. The states that contribute the most tax dollars are largely blue. The takers are largely bright bright red.
