I went as did 2M plus others. hardly a momentous occasion

But going consisted of going into the first sgts office and him handing you orders not entire divisions going over like in 68-69

By my time we were pulling out not going in---but I swam upstream and went. The army's choice . Not mine

In fact my reserve unit was ordered back in 1974 to pull out equipment --I objected and didn't go because I was in school

The whole thing ended in 1975 anyway
