Having built some models once upon a time, I can tell you that two things determine the outcome. One is the assumptions one makes in building the model. The other is the data that goes into it.

The fact the climate prediction models are not universally accepted as good science years after their first emergence suggests that there are legitimate issues with them. My understanding is the two biggest are how they handle solar activity and the number of data points for the earth.

The issue is if the climate change predictions are accurate, then action should be taken, but if the skeptics are correct, taken the suggested action, i.e. the Paris Accords, will be the biggest waste of resources in human history.
