To the East of CWE, with new & booming Cortex District & SLU campus/Theater district, it is nice & really a dynamic area. Ownwith the top 2-3 & fastest growing Tech district in the country.
To the West of CWE, with Forest Park, it's accompanying mansions, high end historic neighborhoods & then Washington University's campus, it is very nice & affluent.
To the South you enter some older, quaint historic neighborhoods including STL's famous Hill neighborhood that is really cool.
You don't have to go to far North (10 blocks or so on the other side of Delmar to get into some areas you don't want to be in). Yet go West on Delmar & you're right into STL's famous Loop Entertainment district.
