The empty seats and unsold suites speak louder than the old "Mizzou way" of 15 years ago -our Fanbase is pretty small to begin with relative to the size of the stadium and relative to other schools in the conference.
Look at what Illinois did. I'm not saying that was a great hire because obviously the jury is still out but it was one that sparked interest and was at least as good of a shot as any to turn things around there. They have the exact same kind of small fan base and fading interest that we do - The AD there just said screw it -I'm going for it
