Their son got shot by a schoolmate with an air rifle and the bb snapped of an upper front tooth. Probably about 10-11 years old at the time.


Parents thanked me for arresting the older one...they had been having "issues" with him.

About 3 years later ran into him on a boat dock at a county park. Still on probation for the burglary. Very polite kid & turned it around. Had to do a FIF (Field Interview Form) to document our contact for his PO.


But yeah, I must have imagined the entire thing.
