I worked today moving stuff from one storage unit...

next to a lake to another unit about a mile away that's on a little bit higher ground, so I'm a bit whooped.

I got lucky on the way there passing by a new 7-11 that has about 10 double gas pumps and the line was only 3 deep at every pump. I was running on empty and put over 29 gallons in my truck and I was damn relieved.

Another eerie thing today is I noticed on the way home there are no birds anywhere...none. No birds flying in the air, no birds in the trees or sitting on the wires.

Traffic on Sunrise Blvd at 5:30 PM is normally a pain is the ass, but today I blew right on through on a near empty road. The only backed up traffic was at the gas stations along the way.

It's dark and stormy to the west where it looks like there is a thunderstorm over the Everglades.

Lowes was completely wiped out of AA and D batteries, but they had a plethora of 9 volt and some AAAs. I need to find some tomorrow.
