leadership has done more to protect Obama era policy than to advance their own.

Trump needs to call out the leadership and start naming name. If they are not going to support the policies that got Trump needs to start the process to have them replaced at the next election. Despite the best efforts of the media Trump's base is still very much intact and if he were to start calling out obstructionist from the GOP his supporters could make their lives very difficult.

This would not be good for the party but neither is having leaders that say one thing and vote another.
