what i havn't been able to find out about DACA

The White house stated as many as 9 different state Attorney generals are threatening to sue the Federal government over the DACA, Therefore forcing the issue.
I understand the DACA program was a executive order. I have read that its perceived to be unconstitutional by way of executive over-reach.
But other than the construction and the definition of the law, why would Attorney Generals be suing the government over the DACA?
Keep in mind, I understand the value of eliminating executive orders and letting congress make the laws. but this seems like an extreme measure to shuffle laws around to satisfy civics, here.
