The reality is we cannot.
Being the most powerful country in the world doesn't mean we have the power to effectively rule the world. Those are two very different things.
N. Korea has missiles and it has a bomb. It would be wise to assume it's just a matter of time before it acquires a nuclear tipped ICBM.
We can't stop this train without millions of casualties, trillions spent in rebuilding the peninsula & possibly Japan too, destabilizing the entire region, and sending the global economy into a major recession.
The prudent course is to welcome KJU into the big boy club and let him know what the rules are:
One wrong move against the US or its allies and you're done.
Any whiff of proliferation to an enemy or terrorist organization and your nation will be in ruins.
He's ruthless but he's not stupid. He'll understand that.
It's the best we can do.
