doubled from $13.2 billion to $27.6 billion with US exports also going down. (Thanks, Soetoro!) Had you paid an ounce of attention during the election cycle, you would have heard him say he wanted to balance out trade deficits. More importantly, trade deficits that did not benefit the US. Actually, this was also brought up in regards to Mexico when talking about paying for the wall.
