You have to know your audience and think before you speak. I have been a teacher and coach my entire life. There are things I have said to players or teams that I would never say to that same kid in a classroom. I have a bond with my players that is not there with most of my students.

Case in point a couple days ago I was talking to my team about departure times for tournies when one of the girls told me that would not work because she needed her beauty sleep. My response was 'that's obvious'. I would have never made that comment to a student in class.
