They ate up the religion of peace nonsense, despite many violent acts in France before their brutal terrorist attack.
Didn't bother to beef up security before publishing their Mohammed cartoons, which riled up the terrorists they imported, and gave welfare to.
In other words, reality bit them on the behind hard.
So, they're back being cutting edge (On people who don't kill you for it).
