in the gulf to make landfall since Katrina. That does not really fit the climate change narrative that has been sold to us. Remember both the frequency and power of the storms were supposed to go up dramatically.

It has been a long time since a major storm hit the gulf coast and even this one would have been relatively minor if weather conditions had not stalled it out where it could continue to pick up moisture from the gulf and dump it in the same place for days.
