I'm old enough to remember the term beach shack. It was a small house, easily replaceable because you expected a hurricane.
today? It's a millionaire row of houses, who count on govt to tax the rest of us to rebuild them when the hurricane trashes them.
Sorry coastal people, there's a reason you got palm trees at the beach. Mother nature knows it's going to blow, just a question of when, not if.
