We had the opportunity to nominate and elect a candidate that would solve our country's problems and heal the divide, but the lunatic fringes of both parties prevailed. First, the pendulum swung one way with Obama and now it's swung the other way with Trump. I'm hoping that one of these days, it will return to center. Otherwise, we're in for a very rocky road going forward.
