The funding has the right sounding name, so it must be good. Teen pregnancy protection. Good idea, let's fund it. But is it just the idea that's good, or is the program actually working?
Maybe, maybe not.
Calling something the clean water protection act, doesn't mean it's not dirty.
Because this article gives Obama credit, doesn't mean it's true. What's the source?
Maybe, like many social programs it's duplicated in several other places. Maybe the one being cut is the least effective and most corrupt.
Dunno.
Maybe the writer is showing compassion without showing sense.
Maybe the writer just wants to burnish Obama's legacy.
It may be a great program.
