Arpaio was convicted of a misdemeanor, not a felony.
Arpaio intends to appeal the decision.
The local consensus is Judge Bolton will fine him and will not send him to jail.
There is no point in pardoning Arpaio while his appeal is pending.
Even if Arpaio is not pardoned, the conviction is in practical terms no big deal because he loses no rights as a result of the conviction.
