Frontenac for $4-$5 million, after Matt was let go to go elsewhere via free agency by the Cards & ended up signed with the Yankees.

He has thrown down roots in STL & has the goal of making SLU Basketball a marquee program & a much larger "St. Louis" team.

Both his sons attend DeSmet (the oldest one '18 plays Varsity basketball for DeSmet ) & his daughter attends another private school in STL.

He attends DeSmet games & games at other high schools around STL regularly. Out in the community a lot otherwise.

Like he's going to score some big time recruits & recruiting classes right out the gate after coming to SLU & the first off season start shopping himself to other schools, smh!
