Maybe he was naive - or just flat dumb.
Maybe he truly was trying to get big business CEOs together to help bring jobs back to America - and then realized they were only in it for political gain(s).
Maybe he was just trying to feather-his-own-nest by making insider deals with said CEOs.
Maybe he was looking for a cross-section of ideas in order to help shape his economic agenda as President.
Maybe he's in way over his head and was looking for a "Nanny-Council" to steer him in the right direction --- and shot his no-control mouth off and alienated those CEOs from their stock-holders, so they ditched him (to protect their stock-price driven bonuses).
There's probably at least a dozen other possibilities, but I am sure of this ---- this mass defection of his advisory board was either economic, or, political(same thing for Fortune 500 companies).
It had ***NOTHING*** to do with Charlottesville and his totally fine statement from Saturday.
