doing or conducting these tests? The numbers I often see seem low for college and NBA considering the way they can dunk. I did this test when I was in high school. I have a reach of 8' 1" and in high school could get a foot above the rim standing under the basket and jumping straight up without a step. Our coach said that was a 35" vertical. Is this correct or is something off? I am confused because I never considered myself a really good jumper compared to the dunks I see some people doing.
Here is info that says Mizzou's Phil Pressey had a standing (no step) vertical leap of 37.5" which was the best leap at the NBA combine.
