No one has really challenged this since then.

Of course, that whole case hinged on whether Burdick could reject a pardon (if he was forced to accept it he couldn't plead the 5th and refuse to testify); so anyone actually pardoned by Trump can simply reject it in any court proceeding and it wouldn't be an admission of guilt.
