It was negligence, not corruption that she was on the hook for. You know, the whole classified docs thing? And I could not have cared less if she went to jail for it, like an ordinary citizen. But, as was pointed out by multiple people, there was no intent, and therefore precedent said that prosecution was not the goal. If you remember, Mittens Romney did a very similar thing, as did Pence.
