In Seattle where they figure each call for an OD costs the city $2000. That isn't counting the hospital bills.

Plus the OD calls take resources away from other emergencies. What if your loved one was having a heart attack but the Paramedics assigned to your area are dealing with an OD. So now your loved one's EMS response has to come from farther away?
