It was replaced by the Euro in 2002. The German government guaranteed that it would continue to exchange the Marks then in existence for Euro indefinitely and the exchange rate is fixed. No new Marks have been issued since that time. My guess is the Mark fluctuates in value relative to the dollar because the Euro fluctuates relative to the dollar but I don't see the point in researching that.
