The old saying from the 60s. Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you. As we know, the FBI committed very serious violations of our rights in the 60s while stifling dissent.
Details of the intrusive surveillance and disinformation campaign used against Black Rock protesters. Similar tactics were used against occupy wall street. The big advancement is outsourcing the actual thuggery to private contractors with military experience. Of course the privatized thugs coordinated extensively with law enforcement
I know many of you are partisans that don't care about how people you disagree with are treated. That is short sighted.
