"IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 26, 2017
Fatality Accident
On May 26, 2017 at 9:47 am the Overland Park Police Department responded to the 13300 block of Switzer reference a fatality accident. The driver of a white 2003 Ford F350 was southbound on Switzer approaching the intersection on a green light. The driver of a light blue 2016 Chevrolet Spark was westbound on W.133rd Street, disobeyed a red light. The driver of the 2016 Chevrolet Spark passed away at the scene.
At this time, the family of the deceased driver has not been notified. The Overland Park Police Traffic Safety Unit is requesting anyone who observed this accident is asked to call 913-895-6412.
