come to their rescue for a third time? If Germany can't pay for its own defense, something is seriously wrong. Of course, they probably feel a lot safer these days with Poland and other former Eastern bloc countries serving as a buffer between them and Russia. They also figure that if Russia attacks, America will come to the rescue, as it's always done.
