hero worship of the military a little too far? There are plenty of military members who deserve praise for heroism. There is no denying that. People drafted who had to uproot their lives to go fight deserve a great amount of respect. But there are a lot more who were people who were just looking for a job and the military was their choice. I give them credit for doing a job I wouldn't want to do. But there are also tons of other jobs I wouldn't want to do that people don't worship. This whole hero worship of the military thing is mainly one great big propaganda tool used by the government to recruit people to the military.
