Why are we outraged that Russia tried to interfere in our elections when we attempt to interfere in every other election across the globe?

Besides I thought our elections were fool proof. At least that is what Obama said when Trump was questioning them.

Obama said there was "no serious" person who would suggest it was possible to rig American elections, adding, "I'd invite Mr. Trump to stop whining and go try to make his case to get votes."
