I wouldnt go so far as to say he is treated worse, but rather that he is treated fairly based on what is happening currently.
Its the media's job to follow the stories, not fabricate them. And judging by where these stories have taken us and the Trump-Rage it has caused, they seem to be more accurate than defenders are willing to admit.
