Functioning others are not. Setting that aside he will always be autistic and have to play the hand that he was dealt.
Of course we will do all we can for him, but doesn't change his cards. In my son's case he will likely never be able to drive or live without assistance for instance. Those are sever limiting factors that you don't get to change or bluff you way out of
