That would explain the sheer stupidity... Was Rosen ever detained or charged with a crime? DOJ obtained a search warrant of Rosen's computer - obviously that was PERFECTLY LEGAL....not a 1st amendment violation.
The 1st Amendment doesn't give Rosen (or his computer) blanket protection - what if Rosen had forwarded classified information to other sources (a foreign country for example)? Certainly the DOJ has an obligation to follow the classified information trail.
