I wouldn't be shocked if Ford actually only wanted to cut 10,000 jobs but they publicly say it's 20,000. Trump comes in and does his shrewd negotiating(i.e. millions of tax breaks) and they agree to cut only 10,000 jobs. Ford makes a killing, cuts the jobs they wanted to begin with, and Trump takes a victory lap.
