most of the shootings happen. Also the apathy in the community about reporting shooting activity.

When my wife's grandmother was alive and living near 27th & Van Brunt she and her neighbors had a morning calling tree to make sure none of them had been shot over night. Pretty sad to be in your 80's and have to roll off your bed to the floor in the middle of the night because you heard gunfire close by.
