The ol' "military-people-love-Trump" narrative.

That's generally true for the younger enlisted, but as you get to the senior enlisted and officer corps (i.e. the more experienced and educated part of the force), it's not so pronounced.

But keep trying to co-opt the military for your guy if it makes you feel good.
