Bill Clinton is Fckn Brilliant. Politically, intellectually, the guy is the smartest guy in the room. He is also a bit sleazy, dontcha know?

Per Charisma - Great tale about Latham - the longtime editor of Harpers. He sees Clinton across the room and Bubba makes eye contact and heads his way. Latham steels himself b/c he knows what's coming. Latham is not easily wowed by anyone, but he knows what's coming. And sure as sht once Bubba got to him, dude was just bowled over for that brief minute or two there was no one else in the world as important as he was. THAT is what Clinton could do. Which is why I would have liked to see he and Reagan in battle.
