reported yesterday they said Rosenstein asked trump to remove him from office and Trump simply asked him to put it in writing. Now the report is that Trump made him write the letter.
If anyone goes to their boss and request that an underling be fired what is the first thing the boss will ask for? That's right, the boss will ask for it in writing. Also on a move this big you would definitely run it by your boss first before putting the request in writing.
