I first read that bit of news about a week ago on Twitter from a former white house official. It was then confirmed by another tweet.
The existence of the grand juries first reached the news media yesterday when CNN came forth to say that associates of Michael Flynn had been subpoenad.
The same Twitter source who first had information on the grand juries also says there is a third grand jury and at least 25 sealed indictments waiting to be released and that it isn't if but when. The third grand jury centers around FISA (foreign agents).
If you watch Comey's last testimony, he confirms cooperation between his investigation and at least two other entities. One of which is the Virginia judicial district where the subpoenas originated.
It remains to be seen what eventually comes of all this but it's becoming harder and harder to call it partisan politics with a straight face.
